Who are Scout House’s clients?
Scout House partners with major technology platforms, game studios, and brands including Meta, Google, YouTube, Snapchat, Square Enix, 2K, LEGO, and MLB. The common thread: clients building ambitious, technically complex products who need a creative partner that understands their technology as well as their audience.
What is the difference between a creator program and influencer marketing?
A creator program is a structured ecosystem built to grow, educate, and retain a community of developers or creators around a platform. Influencer marketing is a distribution tactic that uses established creators to promote a product to their existing audience.
Scout House does both, but the distinction matters. Influencer marketing creates spikes. Creator programs create sustained engagement.
Can Scout House produce live events like bootcamps and hackathons?
Yes, live event production is one of Scout House’s strongest capabilities. Scout House has produced live events and workshops globally, including multi-day bootcamps in New York, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, and Seoul. The team handles everything: venue selection, programming design, speaker management, production capture, and the content that lives on after the event ends.
What is vibe coding, and does Scout House work with vibe coders?
Vibe coding is a new approach to software development where creators use natural language prompts and AI coding assistants to build functional applications, often without traditional programming backgrounds. It represents a major shift in who can build software and how quickly they can ship.
Scout House actively scouts and develops vibe coder talent as part of its builder network. For platforms launching AI-powered development tools, Scout House can identify, vet, and mobilize communities of these builders at scale.
Does Scout House have case studies or references?
Yes. The Meta Horizon Creator Program is Scout House’s flagship case study, a multi-year engagement with measurable platform impact. Additional client work spans campaigns and programs for YouTube, Google, Square Enix, 2K, LEGO, MLB, and Snapchat. References and detailed case materials are available on request. What makes Scout House different from a standard production company?
Most production companies can make content. Not many can build the ecosystem around it too: the community architecture, the learning design, the cohort programming, the event infrastructure, and the ongoing management that turns a content investment into a growing platform.
Scout House has done this at scale, repeatedly, for some of the biggest platforms in the space. Creative production, developer education, and community building under one roof with an in-house development team. It’s a combination that’s rare in the industry.
Where is Scout House located?
Scout House is headquartered in Long Beach, California. We work globally, having produced bootcamps and events in Los Angeles, London, Amsterdam, Cologne, Tokyo, Seoul, New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, and San Francisco. Remote production capabilities are as strong as in-person. Location is never a barrier to working together.
Does Scout House do creative strategy or just production execution?
We do strategy and production execution, because we’d argue the two are inseparable. Some of our strongest work starts upstream at the strategy and positioning level, before a single frame is shot or a single line of code is written. If you already have a strategy locked and need expert execution, we can do that too.
Does Scout House run the programs it builds, or hand them off?
Both. For ongoing programs like the Meta Horizon Creator Program, Scout House operates as a long-term embedded partner that manages community, produces content, and evolves the program as the platform grows. For other engagements, we design and build the infrastructure and train the client’s team to run it independently.
Can Scout House help us build an AI-native creator or developer community?
Yes. Scout House is actively building programs designed for a new generation of AI-native creators and developers, including people building with generative tools, vibe coding platforms, and emerging AI creative workflows. Scout House’s Builder Network is designed to find, vet, develop, and deploy these builders for platform clients.
If you’re a platform looking to grow a community of AI-native builders, Scout House brings the same ecosystem methodology proven with the Meta Horizon Creator Program applied to the next wave of tools and creators.
How does Scout House measure the success of a creator program?
Scout House defines success metrics at the start of every engagement and reports on them in detail. Metrics typically include creator growth and retention rates, content published and platform engagement lift from participants, viewership and completion rates for educational content, and qualitative creator satisfaction.
The bar Scout House holds itself to: can you draw a direct line from program output to platform growth? That’s the standard.
Does Scout House work with clients outside of Los Angeles?
Yes. While headquartered in Los Angeles, Scout House works globally. Scout House has produced bootcamps in London, Tokyo, Seoul, New York, and San Francisco, and its remote production capabilities are as strong as in-person. Location is never a barrier.
What does a creative technology studio do?
A creative technology studio combines creative production — trailers, campaigns, art assets, and social content — with deep technical capability in software, hardware, game engines, and platform tooling. Scout House operates at this intersection, which means we can produce a cinematic game trailer and build the developer education curriculum for the same platform in a single engagement.
Unlike traditional agencies or production houses, we have an in-house development team. We speak developer because we are developers.
Can Scout House handle a full campaign or just a single deliverable?
Both. Scout House can run a complete go-to-market campaign from strategy through trailer production, key art, social assets, influencer programming, and launch events. Or we can step in for a specific deliverable when that’s what the project needs.
Six capabilities under one roof means you’re not managing six vendors. The disciplines talk to each other because the team does.
Can Scout House build developer education if we don’t have a curriculum yet?
Yes, curriculum design is one of our core capabilities. Scout House researches the developer audience, maps existing skill gaps, designs a learning journey from beginner to advanced, and builds all the content from scratch. Instructional design and production happen under one roof. Our studio has delivered over 300 hours of educational content across gaming, XR development, and creator education.
How does Scout House use AI in production?
Scout House integrates AI tools across its production workflows. From generative video and image tools in pre-production and concept development, to AI-assisted editing and content scaling in post-production. Scout House approaches AI as an acceleration layer that amplifies what a skilled creative team can do, not a replacement for craft.
This is a practical, production-tested integration. Our team actively evaluates and benchmarks emerging AI models to stay ahead of what’s possible. If you’re looking for a production that does not use any generative AI, we can also tackle those projects.
What results has Scout House delivered?
Scout House measures success by platform impact, not just content output. Key results include:
- Meta Horizon Creator Program (operated since 2022) — over 75% of the platform’s top-performing worlds are now built by program participants
- 125+ games launched across trailer production and campaign work
- 300+ hours of developer education content delivered
- 350+ live events and workshops produced globally across New York, London, Tokyo, Seoul, and San Francisco
These aren’t vanity metrics. Scout House helps platforms attribute real growth directly to creator program output.
Who will I work with day-to-day?
Every client gets a dedicated point of contact, a producer or project lead who knows the project inside and out. Depending on scope, you’ll also have direct access to creative leads, directors, and the technical team throughout production.
Scout House doesn’t run clients through account handlers. You work with the people actually making your project.
What is Scout House?
Scout House is a creative technology studio based in Los Angeles specializing in creator programs, developer education, and immersive production. Founded by industry veterans with 20+ years in video production and interactive media, Scout House operates a team across creative, technical, and production disciplines.
Scout House has launched 125+ games and works with clients including Meta, Google, YouTube, and Snapchat. We build the programs, content, and communities that grow developer ecosystems from the inside out.
What game engines and platforms does Scout House work with?
Scout House has production experience across Unity, Unreal Engine, and proprietary engines. On the hardware side, Scout House has deep expertise with Meta Quest (all generations), PlayStation VR, Apple Vision Pro, PC VR, and console and mobile platforms.
How do you build a developer community from scratch?
Building a developer community starts with understanding the platform’s value proposition, mapping the developer audience, and identifying the skill gaps that prevent adoption. From there, Scout House designs the community architecture including the programming cadence, content pipeline, event calendar, recognition systems, and the infrastructure to support it.
The critical difference between a community that lasts and one that fizzles: ongoing investment in education, consistent programming, and a genuine feedback loop between the community and the platform team.
How quickly can Scout House start a project?
Fast. Once scope is agreed and a contract is in place, Scout House can typically be in kickoff within a week. The team is structured to move quickly with no layers of bureaucracy between agreement and action. If you have a hard deadline, say so up front and the team will tell you honestly whether it’s achievable.
What types of game trailers does Scout House produce?
Scout House produces announce trailers, gameplay trailers, cinematic trailers, launch trailers, App Store and storefront videos, developer diaries, and social cuts. Each format is purpose-built for the specific moment it needs to land. An announce trailer has a fundamentally different job than a gameplay trailer, and we treat them accordingly.
Scout House has produced trailers across 125+ game launches for clients ranging from global publishers like Square Enix and 2K to indie studios like Another Axiom, makers of Gorilla Tag.
What does a creator program look like when Scout House builds it?
A Scout House creator program is an ecosystem designed to grow a community of developers or creators around a platform. Programs typically include:
- Structured cohort experiences
- A curriculum of courses and tutorials
- A community hub (often Discord) with ongoing programming
- Live events and certification tracks
Scout House has operated the Meta Horizon Creator Program since 2022. Over three-quarters of Meta Horizon’s top worlds are now built by MHCP creators.
How does a project with Scout House typically start?
Every engagement starts with a conversation to understand what you’re building, what success looks like, and where Scout House can add the most value. From there, the team puts together a clear scope, timeline, and approach. No guesswork. No fluff.
Scout House moves fast from intro to kickoff and is flexible about where it plugs in. Need a partner from day one of ideation? Great. Joining a project already in motion? That works too.
What services does Scout House offer?
Scout House offers five core capabilities under one roof:
- Creator programs and community ops
- Developer education and curriculum design
- App and product marketing
- Event production
- Builder Network
These disciplines all work together. The team that builds your creator program is down the hall from the team producing your trailer.
